The Sydney Jewish Museum (SJM) offers a diverse range of educational programs and opportunities for secondary and primary school students. All SJM student education programs are inquiry based, linked to NSW Board of Studies Syllabus outcomes and can be tailored to meet class needs.
Most programs include personal testimony from a Holocaust survivor or descendant.

The SJM offers over 25 programs for school students from Stage 1- 6. All SJM programs have applicability across the NSW curriculum with particular relevance to key syllabus areas. Subjects covered but not limited to include Modern History, English, Legal Studies, Studies of Religion and Human Society and its Environment.

The content covered in the programs and exhibitions at the SJM can at times be confronting. We strongly advise all teachers to prepare their students prior to their visit. Resources such as sample lesson plans and publications have been produced to be utilized as pre-visit materials and to supplement our programs.

Program costs range between $8 and $25 per student. No charge for teachers.
