Woolshed at Jondaryan

 Dating back from 1859, it is the oldest operating woolshed in the world!
The Woolshed at Jondaryan holds a special place inthe history of rural Queensland, shearing folklore and the Australian Union Movement.
It is a working property with merino sheep and other farm animals offering visitors a range of hands-on activities and demonstrations, to include:
    Sheep Shearing demonstrations
    Beekeeping demonstrations
    Blacksmithing demonstrations
    Damper ‘Make & Take’ classes
    Access to the animal nursery
    ‘School’s In’ Re-enactment
    Guided tours

School groups may choose from a selection of Day Visit Packages and Overnight Camp Packages ensuring the best use of time and budget.  Packages may include accommodation, tours, activities and catering.  A qualified team of Woolshed staff and enthusiasts ensure an authentic experience.
