Cataract Scout Park was established initially as Australia’s only permanent national Jamboree site and in January 2016 hosted 12,000 scouts for the National Jamboree.
It is a magnificent campsiteand recreational centre covering 160 hectares ,70 kms south west of Sydney and 30 minutes from Wollongong. Accommodation is available in Lodges, Bunkrooms orfor thousands under canvas on our fully serviced campsites!
The Park has many permanent high quality adventure style activities that will entertain and enthral  your group.
“Challenge Valley” is one of the most exciting commando style wet and dry obstacle courses anywhere in Australia and has featured in a couple of TV shows and is used by sporting teams from NRL level to juniors for preseason “boot camps”. Challenge Valley is also the venue for the annual “tough man challenge” where thousands take part!  Designed to test and challenge it can be run at various “levels” to suit the users.
